Education for Information
Education for Information has been since 1983 a forum for debate and discussion on education and training issues in the sphere of information handling. It includes refereed full-length articles and short communications on matters of current concern to educators and practitioners alike. Its News section reports on significant activities and events in the international arena. In-depth book reviews complete each issue of this quarterly publication, essential reading for those involved and interested in education and training for information handling.

EVALUATION

The American Journal of Evaluation (AJE) explores decisions and challenges related to conceptualizing, designing and conducting evaluations. Four times/year it offers original, peer-reviewed, articles about the methods, theory, ethics, politics, and practice of evaluation.

Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis
Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis publishes scholarly articles of theoretical, methodological, or policy interest to those engaged in educational policy analysis, evaluation, and decision making. It is a multidisciplinary policy journal and considers original research from multiple disciplines, theoretical orientations, and methodologies.

Evaluation and Research in Education
Evaluation & Research in Education aims to make methods and contents of evaluation and research in education available to teachers, administrators and research workers. Papers published in the quarterly journal: (1) report evaluation and research findings; (2) treat conceptual and methodological issues; and/or (3) consider the implications of the above for action.

American Secondary Education (ASE) is a refereed journal emphasizing secondary education theory and practice. It is published three times each year by The Dwight Schar College of Education.

Child Development
Since its inception in 1930, Child Development has been devoted to original contributions on topics in child development from the fetal period through adolescence. It is a vital source of information not only for researchers and theoreticians, but for a broad range of psychiatrists and psychologists, educators, and social workers across the field. Child Development publishes peer-reviewed empirical, theoretical, review, applied, and policy articles reporting research on child development. Child Development is published on a bimonthly basis.

Contemporary Educational Psychology
Contemporary Educational Psychology publishes articles that involve the application of psychological theory and science to the educational process. Of particular relevance are descriptions of empirical research and the presentation of theory designed to either explicate or enhance the educational process.

Critical Studies in Education
Critical Studies in Education (formerly Melbourne Studies in Education) is international in outlook and readership and critical in orientation, without being tied to one particular perspective.

Current Issues in Education
Current Issues in Education (CIE) is an open access peer-reviewed academic education journal sponsored by the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College of Arizona State University. This journal is produced by ASU graduate students and publishes articles on a broad range of education topics that are timely and have relevance in the field of education (pre-K, K-12, and higher education) both nationally and internationally.

Democracy and Education
Democracy & Education aims to provoke rigorous, open, and inclusive engagement with the challenges of educating youth in the pre-K-12 age span for active participation in a democratic society. This open access journal seeks to support and sustain conversations that take as their focus the conceptual foundations, social policies, institutional structures, and teaching/learning practices associated with democratic education.

Educational Policy (EPX) focuses on the practical consequences of educational policy decisions and alternatives. It examines the relationship between educational policy and educational practice, and sheds new light on important debates and controversies within the field.

Equity and Excellence in Education
Equity & Excellence in Education publishes articles based on scholarly research utilizing qualitative or quantitative methods, as well as essays that describe and assess practical efforts to achieve educational equity and are contextualized within an appropriate literature review. We consider manuscripts on a range of topics related to equity, equality and social justice in K-12 or postsecondary schooling, and that focus upon social justice issues in school systems, individual schools, classrooms, and/or the social justice factors that contribute to inequality in learning for students from diverse social group backgrounds.

Innovations in Education and  Teaching International
Industrial and Organizational Psychology focuses on interactive exchanges on topics of importance to science and practice in our field.  The journal will take a focal article – peer commentary – response format.

Instructional Science
Instructional Science promotes a deeper understanding of the nature, theory, and practice of the instructional process and resultant learning. Published papers represent a variety of perspectives from the learning sciences and cover learning by people of all ages, in all areas of the curriculum, and in informal and formal learning contexts.

Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-Based Learning
The Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-based Learning (IJPBL) publishes relevant, interesting, and challenging articles of research, analysis, or promising practice related to all aspects of implementing problem-based learning (PBL) in K–12 and post-secondary classrooms.
